Harbinger of good and ill omen
Creatures as colossal as a Roc loom large both in a physical and metaphysical sense. The Rocs essence permeates it's territory and the Roc itself becomes a nexus for the intertwining threads of fate connecting even the smallest parts of the world. Despite only possessing vague knowledge of this fact, many cultures consider the Roc a messenger of fate, carrying both benign and ill omen for those who witness it. DMs can use this to have an omen take effect upon observing the Roc, bolstering or weakening the party until its matter is resolved or avoided. The table can serve as an example.
