Discord Updates
Added 2022-11-01 17:57:46 +0000 UTCLast month was a little bit of an experiment in regards to Discord benefits. I am realizing that his may have been a bad move.
It was supposed to be an easy way for people who are patreon supporters to have access to my discord, and automatically assign the supporter role for access to those parts of the server. But it came with a few downsides that I didn't know about, and were not covered when implementing.
First, I didn't realize it would automatically drag in current pledges without warning if their Discord was attached to their Patreon. The second is that it does this every time you renew, even if you've left the server. I do not want people to feel like they're forced to stay, and I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
I'm removing discord benefits, but if anyone would like access to my server, please feel free to reach out and I can provide an invite link.
