GIVEAWAY CONTEST #4!!

Hey everyone! We are doing another giveaway on Patreon and the items we are giving away for free is an Attack on Titan Manga Volume 30 and a Colossal titan t-shirt (size large)!

To win this, in the comments of this post, answer this question:

What is your favorite Attack on Titan moment and why?

We will read all your answers and choose our favorite one! I would rather just choose one of you randomly to be more fair but Patreon doesn't allow that so I am going to choose one that stands out to me and is well thought out.

As stated in Patreon's blog post on this topic, "For a contest to be allowed on Patreon, the winner cannot be determined by pure chance... Why is this contest acceptable: this contest relied on creator choice, or judgement, rather than chance to pick the winner."

The winner will be announced in a Patreon post in 3 days time! Thanks so much for all your support and this is very small token of our gratitude to you all. And, don't worry if you do not win this one, there will be more giveaways in the future!

This is hard choice seeing as everything is vital in one way or another but truthfully, I think The Most Important Scene is something that is almost missed, as this show doesn't spoon feed you how to feel or react, instead it shows you how to empathize with marginalized groups all over the world, who in most circumstances have little to no voice overall in their everyday life. i.e. "...how can the World go back to the way it was when So much Bad happened?" I like to Believe that Hange did the Impossible, in Season 4 Episode 84 "Night of the End" where she sat Two Hate filled groups to Sit down and eat together, of course they Argued and escalated but it went from killing Strangers to Sharing a meal with "thy Neighbor"(humanity shined bright in the darkness of the FOREST). She did that. she gave us the answer. I do believe most of the hate stems from ignorance, and ignorance leads to more destructive path for all, but how much of that dissipates when people get together, start the heavy conversations and find solutions, then they realize we are all human.

Wow, I think it's easy to pick from any of the major plot events, but for me, it's in episode 4x22 when Gabi tells Kaya and Niccolo (after she saves Kaya from Titan Nile) that she herself is a devil. Then when the Paradise soldiers show up and yell at Gabi, the entire Brouse family and Niccolo defend her. To think they would all defend someone who killed their loved one. UGH, the amount of grace and forgiveness that they have is just heart mending instead of heart breaking. Her character arc was some of the best writing I've ever seen. She went from a fun new character (4x1 - 4x5) to my most hated character (4x8 - 4x13). Everything she said was literally brainwashed thinking and just repeating what she learned from Marley and her family. Drove me nuts and after she shot Sasha, the hate in me went overboard. Niccolo serving her a chef's special knuckle sandwich, after Falco took the bottle to the head, was some of the best lunch I ever had and was extremely satisfying. The moment you saw Gabi admitting to Colt and Falco that there are no devils on Paradise Island, you knew the full turnaround was going to happen with Gabi. To think that this was just a side story within the even more epically written major plot points shows just how great of a show Attack on Titan is and I don't know if anything can top it.

The best scene is when Eren gets to Marley with the rumbling when they come out of the water. It shows a quick scene of Eren watching his mom being eaten and Erens face followed by him saying I’ll kill them all. In that 2 second scene it shows that the entire story of Eren and his actions is driven by watching his mother die which turned Eren into the monster he became. In that scene it showed you Erens motives and why everyone has died and is about to die

Bro, Bertholdt is my favorite character. And it seems like you’re the only one who feels the same way! Yeah, Bertholdt might seem quiet, but when it’s necessary, he takes action. The scene where Armin eats him hits you right in the heart. That moment when he saw the others and gave a faint smile, as if for a second he believed they would save him… it’s so tragic. And if you look closely, it really feels like Eren wanted to save him, but Mikasa held him back. Maybe it’s just my interpretation, but there’s definitely something in Eren’s expression that makes you think. And the saddest part is his scream, calling out to his friends and remembering them in his final moments. It’s a reminder that Bertholdt, despite everything he did, was still human, with his fears, hopes, and attachments.

The last two episodes of Season 3 are truly impactful. I especially love the moment when Eren reassures Armin that what awaits them beyond the walls is everything they read about in books as children. But then, he suddenly stops and recalls the truth about the world from his father’s memories. At that point, although Eren didn’t yet know the future, it already hinted at his slight disillusionment. He believed they were the true people of this world and that freedom lay across the ocean—everything Armin’s books had promised them. Later, when he learns about the future, that realization breaks Eren. In the end, standing on the shore, he gazes into the distance with a look of disappointment. It feels like an ending, but in reality, it’s only the beginning.

Season 3, episode 11. The ending when Carla is telling Shadis that being born into this world is what makes someone special. Nothing else is needed from someone, you don't have to do this huge act to become special. You are special because you experienced the beauty of life. It's something I needed to hear and I think everyone does at some point.

Scratch the first comment.. My favorite episodes are the battle of shiganshina district and the scene where Armin and Eren comes up with a plan to stall Berthold would be my all time favorite, sadly in that episode Armin nearly dies getting burned. Meanwhile Misaka yeet Reiner from his armored titan!?! Shoutout to Courtney cause she was there. Keep up the good work

Watching as the Beast Titan takes pleasure in killing off the young Scouts but slowly loses his composure as they keep moving forward, only for his own hatred/frustration toward their resolve, distracts him enough for Humanity’s Greatest Soldier to slice him from arms, to eyes, to legs, to nape, and finally cutting Zeke out of his Titan form and shoving his sword through his eye socket. The highest of highs! LEVIIIII!! Zeke got away, but Levi got him in the end.

My favorite moment: Season 3 episode 20 Eren Kruger (the owl) revealing he is the attack titan (My favorite moments are oddly the same episode every season, like season 4 episode 20 Grisha kills the royal family) the music... Yeah 10/10 episodes those 20's

If I had to pick out of the many scenes, (There's just so much Pieck in the show) then it would have to be in season 3 part 2, back in episode 15 where Bertholdt has his moment. Despite being shown as weak-willed throughout the story. Everyone sees him as just the guy who's with Reiner. Even he himself doesn't like to take action, at least until he has to. There is literally no one else who can take the front, his best friend had just been pushed to the brink of death, and that's when he finally locks in. He said it himself, they're not devils but he has to kill them, he has to finish the mission since no one else it able to but him. He's finally taken on the mantle of being the holder of none other than the Colossal Titan, the God of Destruction. So when he actually takes hold of that responsibility, that's when we can see how he is actually good at hand to hand combat, he good at reading the situation, and he's good at doing what he must do. Even if he doesn't want to, because that's just how the world is, cruel. Sadly we can only see a glimpse of his potential as yeah he ends up dying. Rip

Fellow Warrior

My Favourite Moment from Attack on Titan is when Levi takes down the Beast Titan in season 3 because he just becomes a Beyblade spinning all across his body fully demolishing him and he would have killed him there if it wasn’t for Pieck/cart titan!

EpicTman1911

My favorite scene is in season two when Reiner tells Eren that he and Bertholdt were the Armored and Colosal titans

Luis Mercado

My favorite AOT moment is Serumbowl when Levi had to make the ultimate decision between Erwin and Armin and he chose Armin. The whole scene had no music and no ost until the end and it was done beautifully. The animation was also really well done. Also when Hanji came in and told Mikasa about how she lost her close comrades like Moblit. The whole episode just hits you like a trainwreck.

My favorite scene in the series is the beach one at the end of season 3. It is pretty much the culmination of the entire series up to that point and a very somber one - where eren realizes the freedom he always thought he would attain once he reaches the sea doesn’t actually exist. “If we kill all our enemies over there, will we finally be free?” Is both extremely alarming to hear - and at the same time almost a sad and desperate cry for help (also foreshadowing things to come)

Light Yagami

My favorite moment from AOT is Reiner and Bertholdt's reveal as titans. I've always been a pretty skeptical anime viewer as in I've never been blown away by it. This moment not only sold the show for me but made me truly appreciate anime as a medium that should be respected.

Harrison Alexander

My favorite Attack on Titan moment is when Eren confronts Reiner in the basement of Marley. The way Eren calmly lays out his thoughts, saying, “You were the bad guys too,” hits so hard. It’s such a turning point—not just for the story but for how you see Eren as a character. He’s not the same hot-headed kid we started with. Now, he’s someone who really understands the weight of everything that’s happened. What gets me about this scene is how tense it is. Eren’s sitting there, cool as hell, but you know he’s ready to unleash chaos. And then there’s Reiner, just crushed by guilt, knowing exactly what’s coming. It’s one of those moments that makes you step back and think about how messed up both sides are. There’s no clear “good guy” anymore, just people caught in this endless cycle of war and revenge. It’s unforgettable because it’s not just action—it’s the emotions, the layers, and how it makes you question everything you thought you knew about the story.

Chandler Smith

My favorite scene is 100% Eren carrying the boulder. He is depicted as Atlas in Greek mythology who is a titan that carries the burden of humanity. While this is happening you see everyone in return sacrificing their lives which shows how BEAUTIFUL humanity can be in this CRUEL world.

Erwin Smith

If Scott wins give me his winnings. 😁😁😁

My favorite AoT moment has to be the entire episode "2 Brothers". This episode show cased the love of 3 sets of brother: Eren and Zeke, Falco and Colt, and Porco and Marcel. From showing Colt try to reason with the beast titan to save Falco from becoming a titan and dying at Falco's side instead of leaving him. To showing Porco that his brother did everything he could to save him from becoming a titan. And Zeke's continuous efforts to try to "save Eren". The episode was beautifully written and showed us the extent the brothers went to protect each other...... Except Eren..... He didn't love Zeke...... But I think Zeke did care for Eren.

My favorite moment has to be the "freedom scene" where Eren embodies the very essence of human desire for liberty. His reason for wanting to destroy humanity outside the walls stems from a deeply human longing for exploration and freedom. He envisioned a world where he and the scouts could roam freely, only to realize that the world beyond the walls was already explored and his whole reason for killing titans was a waste. This realization makes his quest for freedom both really tragic and very relatable.

Mathetes

When levi keeps hitting eren during the trial in ep. 14. Because it always makes me laugh

Its ame mario

I love the monent jean is holding reiners arm while theyre both hanging off one of erens many ribs, and jean says "We're scout regiment. scouts don't know when to quit." - This was so lovely because its the first time after all the betrayal and malice that they now mutually see eachother as real allies. probably the first time hes actually FELT like a scout without the burden of his double life and he loves it so much more than being a warrior!

Rudy

Since I won the last one I’ll take my name out of consideration for this one lol but one of my favorite moments is probably seeing the Beast Titan pitching a perfect game in Shiganshina and the implications the existence of baseball had for what little we knew about the world beyond the walls (and later in Zeke’s backstory especially).

Scott

Hange seeing eren using his titan for the first time
