Attack on Titan - 4x28 - Full Length Reaction (Part 2)

FULL LENGTH VERSION of the Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 28!

Had to spilt this up into 2 parts because any video that is over 30 minutes won't upload to Patreon successfully.

The next full length Arcane should be out this weekend.

If most male fans had to choose between Mikasa vs. The World... I mean, it's Mikasa. MIKASA.

Erens friends over everything, has nothing to do with ONLY mikasa

I can say this, that Mikasa is definitely in love with Eren. But whether Eren loves Mikasa romantically, that is a good question.

Thanks for letting me know! I just read your answer, and I totally agree with you. I think he should’ve retreated right after destroying the fleet and Marley’s forces in hopes of scaring them into negotiating and securing a peace agreement.

My view is that the entire show is a reflective on war in real life. Whenever an actual war happens we somehow tend to think that the people in charge have some master plan to fix everything, but actually Eren is just some idiot who got power and didn’t know how to deal with it. I think it’s easy from a position of no power (like the majority of us) to suggest how the world should work and how people should act in war, but when it comes down to it, from every single character in this show we can see it’s a struggle of two sides that has no nice, easy answer. When it comes to Eren, while I think he does love Mikasa, at the end of the day, his rage comes from the fact that people want to kill his race. If he does nothing, his entire race and the people he loves gets wiped out, so he needs to do something to stop that, and rather than having a perfect storybook answer that leaves everyone happy, this show depicts war as it often happens in real life. No true winners, massive costs, casualties and death everywhere, and regardless of who is “right” and who is “wrong”, millions die and we spend years recovering. There are undoubtedly parallels in AoT to the real world, but I don’t think they’re meant to specifically call out any real world faction as right or wrong, but I do think that there is a lot of underlying themes of war, especially when it comes to Nuclear bombs, in Japan. They are the only country to suffer the terrifying destruction that one yields, and it makes its way into a lot of Japanese media, sometimes subtle, sometimes not. For AoT, I see the rumbling as a very extreme version of Hiroshima/Nagasaki. The thought process (simplifying of course) behind these strikes was: “if we cause enough damage and obliteration, they will surrender and the war will be over”. And it worked. World War 2 ended due to the absolute terror of the atomic bomb, just like the War of the Titans ended with the Rumbling. But also just like real life, war itself didn’t stop. Fighting continued, and will likely never stop. We’re all Hange, we agree Eren’s actions could never be condoned, and yet no one can ever come up with a realistic plan to create an everlasting peace and fairytale ending. It’s not a justification of what Eren done, and the show is a very extremised version of these sort of themes, but it’s like real life. We all hate war, and yet there is no perfect solution to stop hatred, or war, which is why it has continued on for millennia. Didn’t mean the rant but I had a few drinks before bed while watching this. Hope you guys enjoy the final two episodes!

If Eren’s plan is wrong, then what would be the right thing to do in your opinion?
