2024-09-06 21:28:59 +0000 UTC@Dorak I'm not saying it's skippable because it contains spoilers - though it might. I'm saying it's skippable because they are optional to watch.

2024-08-19 06:47:40 +0000 UTC@kebiro they have this option because maybe you don't want to watch the intro for the 50th time? Like GoT has roughly the same intro for 7 seasons, so yeah, people will want to skip it, it's not because of spoilers.
Dorak
2024-08-19 02:59:51 +0000 UTCpeople like you should stop commenting this, it's not a spoiler if you don't know what the season is about YOU are making it a spoiler by telling this. We all watched the opening the first time so please never recommend to skip an intro and let people enjoy it. Especially by telling them they can watch it after x episode, you're the one spoiling things here.

2024-08-19 02:56:54 +0000 UTCSo you're just validating my point.

2024-08-16 23:59:52 +0000 UTCJust a heads up. Do not watch the new intro for episodes 17 (76) through 21 (80). That intro contains a big spoiler. After episode 21 (80) you can watch that new intro.

2024-08-16 21:40:01 +0000 UTCThere's actually been quite a bit of evidence to foreshadow Zeke's betrayal. He's been sus since S3 part 2. Obviously in hindsight it's a bit more obvious but here are a few hints scattered throughout the series up until this point. 1. In Season 3 episode 17, he gets angry when the Scouts are charging him and thinks how tragic it is that they're repeating history. He then has to check himself and remind himself that he's not like his father Grisha, and that he has to try and enjoy things. That's followed by a strange scene where he puts up his hands and cheers about how he changed his pitch, which is pretty out of character for him thus far given how placid and subdued he's been. This is obviously him "trying to enjoy things." 2. He tells Eren that he's going to come back and rescue him on the rooftop. This is the most glaring sign that Zeke isn't the character we thought he was. 3. In S4 E2, it's revealed that he's purposefully hidden the fact that he has royal blood from the Marleyan army/government. 4. In that same episode, he tips off the warriors that the Marleyan brass are listening in on their private meeting. Magath notices this and is concerned that Zeke made that remark. 5. In S4 E4, Eren is shown to have a baseball and a baseball glove. This is a fairly strong hint that he's been in contact with Zeke, as Zeke is the only character in the show to have a connection to baseball, even referencing a "perfect game" in S3 E16. 6. In S4 E5 undercover Yelena sends him and only him away before leading Porco and Pieck to the pit trap. Zeke is then absent for the entirety of Episode 6 and takes his sweet ass time getting to the battlefield even though he's the highly regarded War Chief. 7: In S4 E7 when Zeke calls out Levi, he tells him that "he's running out of time" before it cuts to Levi looking directly at a stopwatch, waiting for something. This is another hint that the two are in cahoots. 8. Levi takes Zeke down with no resistance at all. This is more of a common sense thing as a viewer, but there's absolutely no way a character as major as Zeke was going to get killed like that. I'm sure there are many more, but this is all I've got off the top of my head.

Light Yagami
2024-08-16 16:26:03 +0000 UTCCompletely different time scales. Eldia oppressed Marley, Marley declared war, the Eldian King took some of his people and isolated them on a remote island. That happened > 100 years ago. But Marley decides to take Eldians on their land and turn them into titans as punishment and dump them on Paradis so they can eat the other Eldians within the walls. And their most recent attack, which was the trigger for Eren's revenge act, was purely for their own benefit - steal the Founding Titan (and the resources) to strenghten their military.

2024-08-16 16:07:56 +0000 UTCOh Gabi gets so much worse. You're gonna love her. Everything will be revealed. This is the last season after all. Also, Yelena is a Marley soldier that's a devoted follower of Zeke. She isn't an Eldian.... I think. I could be wrong. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

2024-08-16 16:01:08 +0000 UTCThere's actually a deeper meaning behind her last words... I'm sure someone will tell you guys when you reach the appropriate episode. It's subtle and beautiful. Because I wont lie, when I first watched this episode the "humor" of her saying meat took me out of it for a moment lol

2024-08-16 15:03:36 +0000 UTCSad thing is, this kind of thing happens in war. Every time. There is no good or evil. Just a whole bunch of people killing and trying to survive.
Eric Lacerna
2024-08-16 14:39:15 +0000 UTCSaddest death in the show so far. That being said, the harsh truth is that Gabi's actions are 100% justified.

2024-08-16 10:09:39 +0000 UTCPeople usually side with Eren and them, and I've seen reactors get mad at gabi when she says "did you see it happen?" For the exact reason you pointed out of just because you didn't see it happen doesn't mean it didn't happen. Gabi is most reactors, just because they didn't see eldia oppress Marley, doesn't mean it didn't happen, but almost everyone would side with eldia

2024-08-16 07:01:16 +0000 UTCYes, top five anime for sure Edit: The series director for the first three seasons of AoT, Tetsuro Araki, also directed Death Note (I think that's why both shows have the "information cards" at the halfway mark of each episode).

2024-08-16 04:31:59 +0000 UTCSasha was originally supposed to die to the titan when she returns home in Season 2. The editor of the manga was so heartbroken he convinced Isayama to keep her alive.

2024-08-16 02:53:54 +0000 UTCMolly's comparison about Jean-Connie-Sasha trio to Eren-Armin-Mikasa is right. They are like goofier or nicer version of them. RIP Sasha though.

2024-08-16 02:53:24 +0000 UTCIt was very naive to think there wouldn't be deaths going into the final arcs. lol Sasha's death will still have an impact on the story.

2024-08-16 00:46:13 +0000 UTCWhen this happened in the manga I was genuinely bummed for an entire week. I've never been hit so hard from a side character's death. RIP Sasha, may you have all the meat and potatoes in the beyond.
Blackfyre5490
2024-08-16 00:37:32 +0000 UTCshe died in the same spot in the manga. Isayama had thought to kill her back in season one but never did. there was nothing to do with fanservice

2024-08-16 00:29:02 +0000 UTCWhat I read that she was supposed to die in season 2 when she saved the little girl from the titan but that the editor cried and asked the author not to make her die so he extended her role
Mesbah Mohamady
2024-08-16 00:26:46 +0000 UTCNah. The manga author thought of doing that but then he changed his mind
Light Yagami
2024-08-16 00:24:16 +0000 UTCIf I recall correctly. Sasha dies in the manga in season 1. The anime kept her alive all the way up to this point for fan service. Heart breaking 🥲
