2024-09-06 14:19:34 +0000 UTCWIT studios was so ungrateful with AOT, the studio were created to animate Attack on titan, but after the three seasons they said that were tired of animating AOT and decided to make another projects (But honestly, from my point of view they just took advantage of their fame and decided to do what they want without thinking in the fans of Aot), so after this due to AOT being a worldwide phenomenon any studio hadn't the courage to "take the baton" with fear of not bing up to par with what WIT did, but MAPPA appeared and decided to take the project besides the lack of time (if you want space in a tv in japan you need to work hard) and did his best with the show. So yes, MAPPA THE GOAT

I think it is far from perfect and I have a great deal of frustration with the way the fandom talks about it, but I think the creative decisions it makes, regardless of how I feel about them, are fascinating. At the end of the day it's sometimes the art that doesn't quite stick the landing for us in an interesting or meaningful way that ultimately sticks out more in our minds than something that is just effortlessly flawless.

My issues with it are that it seems to, towards the end, always make a less interesting choice with where to take itself than it has the option to. That said, Reiner and Gabi carry this season on their backs. at a certain point, I found myself almost completely uninvested in any scene that didn't feature or relate to one of them

Also heads up in case you guys were worried about the response you'd get, you're good to watch the intro, it has no spoilers in it and the song is a banger lol And yeah, this season feels VERY different from the previous ones, I also remember feeling like I was watching a different show pretty much throughout - but mostly in a good way. No matter what you end up thinking about it, I'm confident you guys will NOT be bored lol

Our main crew should all be 19. Reiner and Zeke are a little older *Lia you are going to love the S4 soundtrack.
