It's mostly re-done animation for things that they struggled to finish under the deadline/made a mistake (For example, in the TV broadcast of 2x6 Reiner's arm magically grows back instantly from one shot to the next but it was corrected in the blu-ray) Season 4 had a lot of more changes with specific scenes from TV to Blu-Ray, especially in the latter half, but none of the changes fundamentally differ from the broadcast versions.

2024-07-23 03:02:34 +0000 UTCWhy does it matter whether they like titans or not? Like, who would like that in the first place? People don't like bombs, but they still use them to bomb their enemies. Same with titans. And the reason they keep them is because (as stated) they have 7 intelligent titans under their control, which makes them a powerful nation. Considering their short lifespan they need some Eldian stock to keep inheriting them, otherwise they might lose their powers (some random baby in Paradis might get the powers).

It is done because people feel it is righteuos for the oppressors to be humiliated in the same way the oppressed were. Using titans to control Eldians is both useful and can be seen as karmic justice for the Marleyans who lived in fear of the titans for so long.

Maybe that sounds strange, but I sometimes think reactions can turn into echo chambers; meaning, I feel that most reactors that I see on youtube rarely mention what they don't like in a show. But I do realize they're not meant to be movie crritics. In any case, I think that just adds to your channel's authenticity. I'd actually be curious to hear what other things Courtney isn't a big fan of in AoT

2024-06-24 21:38:31 +0000 UTCCourtney, the Marleyans are turning Eldians into titans for two reasons: The practical use of keeping the Paradis islanders contained in the walls, and as torturous revenge for crimes. The crimes are things like Grisha did (conspire against the government) but can also be as simple as being born an Eldian. They hate Eldians because of their ancestors. They also worry that they might regain power if they aren't kept in check with fear. The threat of having you and your entire family turned into mindless monsters doomed to wander eternally in a state of mental anguish while eating other people alive is pretty scary, and it helps Marley control the Eldians that are still on the mainland

By sending titans to the Eldian island, they take out two birds with one stone. They get to punish the traitor by turning them into a dumb titan, and they get to use this newly made dumb titan as a tool to keep the eldians from being able to leave the walls because of the titans eating them.
