Maybe this is a little bit of fan fiction on my part but I think Levi sees Hange and Erwin as his two closest friends. I think he didn’t want to be alone but when he found out Hange was alive, I think he was more comfortable being without Erwin.

2024-06-08 03:50:53 +0000 UTCAs much as I love Armin I think it should have been Erwin (MY opinion). Yes Armin is like a mini Erwin when it comes to being smart and strategic. BUT Erwin also has the experience, respect, knowledge, and so on. Erwin: Knowledge, Respected, Commander, Dreams, Strategic, EXTREMELY SMART, Motivational, and so on basically and all around vet. Armin: Extremely smart, young, dreams and PRETTY strategic. Yes, Armin COULD eventually gain those things. But if you’re in their situation they don’t really have the “time” to wait for Armin to get all of those things. Idk regardless it was a 50/50 and a very hard decision. I love the way they did it. But only thing I dislike is when they tried makin Armin seem like this hero who came up or discovered things when Erwin has also done the same PLENTY of times. Great reaction can’t wait for more to come ESPECIALLY season 4🫡.
