I thought it was something to do with the people being so used about the fact that the captain is "endowed"... buuut. Nope. This seems like psychological horror unfolding here. Have they been brainwashed? π€ The only thing i know with Tegerio's story is that if they seem to make no sense at first read, and would make sense after "the reveal" it's always with a good dose of "read it a second time after it's finished" that it fully makes sense and you can understand the underlying tones.
