Two Subjects

One is green, one is flesh-colored.
One is a mannequin, the other is presumably human.
ONLY for $22 would I offer a glimpse of this horror.
The split image is the result of using a Russian half-frame camera called "Chaika."

It advances 1/2 frame per shot. This was a semi-popular format in the 1960s when color film was becoming available but was still very expensive; the idea being that you could economize by taking twice as many shots per roll! Also the cameras were usually very compact & easy to carry. Several Japanese models: Canon Demi, Petri Junior, Petri Half, Ricoh Half, Olympus Pen. The Russians had the Belomo Chaika, FED Mikron, and much later (1980s) Belomo AGAT18. Germany had the AGFA Parat. In Italy, Ducati made one which is now quite rare and ridiculously expensive. The only American one I know of is the Universal Mercury II which came out early (just after World War II), is big & cumbersome & built like a tank.
