"Stop & Shop" is the name of a very big grocery chain here in New England. There used to be jokes that it would merge with the A&P, to form the "Stop & P." Ah, grade-school humour.

2017-12-13 00:35:58 +0000 UTC🤔👍😁 about this second comic: by now i can say that by being less into random comedy and more focused on coherent but still absurdist comedy... i like it a lot more. There has truly been a lot of growth as a writer. It's not anymore about making fun on how the idiotic cartoon stuff worked but it's about embracing the idiotic cartoon stuff. It means he went from just pointing the finger and laughing to actually studying why it made him laugh and applying it. And it truly gives a good idea of how Tegerio came to work on his more recent stuff. True, this is still an awkward comic where a lot is evidently being experimented on, and is not yet a masterpiece but it's very enjoyable anyway, and i like seeing artist growth in this fashion. 🤓❤
