Apparently Patreon sent some of you an email proclaiming that I've surpassed the $300 per month goal. A generous amount has indeed been pledged, but whether or not I actually get that money remains to be seen.

To those of you who are legit, actual supporters: I thank you from the bottom of whatever organ you like best. You're the coolest, smartest, and dare I say _sexiest_ sapient beings in the solar system.

After I manually evicted August's scammer from my Commissions tier (because Patreon didn't do it automatically) that second spot was grabbed by someone authentic - so I know my payday will be $40 more than last month's .. and with the couple of genuine Doodle Club patrons who signed up, actually we might get pretty close to $300.

BUT there are two additional $40 pledges from strange entities who don't seem to read what my page says & don't realize that tier is SOLD OUT, nor do they reply to my messages trying to inform them of their blunder, so that means they are probably fake, and $80 is going to disappear on Oct 1. Add to that a number of fishy looking smaller-value pledges, and I reckon my actual earnings are going to be AT LEAST $100 less than the displayed amount you're seeing on my front page.

I would have enabled "Pay Up Front" this month, but it is gone from my payment options screen. Some patrons seemingly were charged right away (it may depend on your country, or your payment method) but my account has not been credited for anything yet. I won't know how much to celebrate until the start of next month.
