How did Chris Hansen make a name for himself, and how much money did he make with Dateline NBC: To Catch a Predator?

I HATE HOW THEY CALL US VIGILANTES....#1. Vigilantes DON'T bring cameras and handle it their own way. #2 Vigilantes DO NOT involve law enforcement. That is all...oh and for the idiots that call it entrapment, WE HAVE TO BE LE in order to call it that, plus the men hit us up first!

And as you said, he doesn't even do 1/4 of the work he gets praised for. I like Skeeter. Yeah, sometimes he is a little too silly, but he gets the job done. I'm thankful to most all the predator catchers. There's one or two that seem to truthfully set the person up. Like they don't tell them their real age until right before meeting. And they seem to only want to hear themselves talk because every time the "pedo" talks they cut them off. I learned it's because they aren't really pedos. They were baited and only told the age minutes before the meet up. There are millions of real pedos, so why this group thinks this is helpful is beyond me. I think they got kicked off YT. They are only making it harder for real catchers like yourself. The media is so corrupt it's sickening. It makes me think how much of history is really bull$hit!?

His latest antics leave a very sour taste and can't help but come to the conclusion he is an absolute hypocrite. Skeeter Jean is awesome. What a loser Chris is for being such a hater. Clearly he wants the support of the media who are the biggest haters themselves.

It really shows what their priorities are. CH should be ashamed of himself for being such a hypocrite and looking down from his high horse. He doesn’t want to talk about his dirty hands on being sued, arrested, in debt , failure to appear in court for a case related to a sting operation, and the numerous legal issues surrounding a sting operation involving Bill Conradt (which when you research makes his comments even more infuriating). Personally, I am thankful for what you and others like you do. For every predator that gets exposed (and convicted) imagine how many others go undetected and the lives they ruin. Keep up the fantastic work.

The utter hypocrisy of CH is absolutely sickening. I just love how he talks down about online predator catchers and blah blahs about the lack of law enforcement, yet in the most recent online predator bust on his Tru Blue YT channel, he's genuinely PROUD of the fact the predator was caught AFTER sexually assaulting and ruining 2 very young girls AND had been selling videos of those heinous assaults (along with multiple others 🤬). Really CH, that makes you better? He should really get off that high horse of his before he gets bucked off and trampled. Ugh....the media is worthless. Sorry for the rant. Thank you for all you continue to do and stand for.

I cannot comprehend what Chris Hansen's problem is, or anyone who is against doing exactly what he did. Because it's exactly what he has done his entire career. Chris Hansen is not law enforcement, he has absolutely no more authority than anyone reading this. I can only imagine the amount of money he's made off of this. The only difference is that Hansen had police there at the beginning, but a lot of these channels have started doing that too. PCI/PCM just collabed with police a few weekends ago and caught almost two dozen of these monsters, all within a thirty mile radius. I couldn't care less if people were making one million a week doing this, at the end of the day, a real child was saved from being physically raped by a demon.

I’ve watched him from the very beginning (just like you lol) and it used to be kinda obvious he was just hopping on the trend. But as times gone on, he’s upped the production and shows he actually does care about catching these predators as well as making it entertaining with his witty comments. He’s collabed w the same guy who caught EDP 455 before so I had low expectations but I still watch it and I’m glad he’s keeping it up. It sucks to see the media be so biased and portray this as “vigilantism” when I actuality they should be more concerned about the fact that there’s so much predators out there and it takes regular citizens to do something about it because the law enforcement aren’t. (Sorry it was so long I’m just as passionate about this as you are” keep it up !!! I miss you!!

They should've been at that peds door. I gave up on the media when Princess Diana was killed. I know it wasn't here where it happened but it shows you they are all pretty desperate for a photo and story. As far as the woman who possed, she made money off of nudity so I don't know why she thinks she's special. Too many snowflakes.
