However, as this podcast explores, a sexual predator can very well be a child victimizing an adult.
NOTE: since recording this podcast there have been no new updates on the case of the Gobles, Michigan high school teacher that was sexually exploited by his students.

Hi, I’m a new Patreon from the UK. I’m very much pro gun control, and so glad they’re illegal in the UK unless you have a licence. It means most people carrying any weapon whether a gun or blade or whatever can be arrested. We have a real problem with blades here, and over Christmas a shooting that resulted in a fatality. But by and large when someone fires a gun over here, it’s a big news story, whereas the same thing in the States would go largely unnoticed. And the last time we had a mass school shooting over here was Dunblane, Scotland, around 1993. I had just started teaching, and I remember that’s when UK schools all got fitted with numerical keypads to gain entry. I’m not gonna pretend there are easy solutions to crime though.

The mentally ill young adults who perpetrated the recent mass shootings got their guns legally because their mental problems had fallen through the cracks. That's why the age to legally obtain a gun should be at least 21, if not 25, when the average human brain becomes fully rational, and background checks need to weed out people with a known record of mental problems. If cops are ineffective in big areas, it's because they're spread too thin, or those areas have a high number of criminals. In many states the highway patrol covers the highways and other vehicular matters and local police departments cover going on police reports.

Most of these people - like the British chick you mentioned - have probably lived pretty sheltered lives and certainly haven’t been put in dangerous situations. I wish I had that privilege lol but I was 2A all the way long before I had to use mine. That story of the young mother was awful, dude. My kid is 4 now and I cannot fathom having to go thru that.

I hope you'll be very happy in your new home and that the woodland creatures will be quiet while you're working. Please don't shoot them for being too loud. I'm pro self-defense, but I'm also pro gun control. A bunch of recent mass shootings have been committed by troubled young men, who had no business having guns in the first place. When I was dating as an adult a while back and had a guy approach me that looked a little young, I would card them. Luckily, I never had a minor trick me online. I've never even sent nudes or posed nude for guys that I knew personally, let alone send nudes to someone I hadn't physically met. I hope that 14 year old rapist is tried as an adult and gets put in the general population. He won't survive his first night...
