Rederbrand and his lady love elope & are pursued by her father & brothers. There's a fight. Rederbrand tells the girl not to call out his name, no matter what happens. He receives grievous wounds but manages to slay all the brother but one. Presumably Death cannot claim him as long as it doesn't know who he is. The girl calls out Rederbrand's name, at which point he dies.
