I already shared this on the Discord, and have been kind of hesitant to talk much about it otherwise, but: my desktop computer is dead, currently. The motherboard shat itself and while I'm not sure if it took the processor with it, it doesn't really matter since sourcing that same board is proving to be a pain in the ass and finding a comparable one affordably is also just kind of out of the question.

Rather than continue to torture myself and lose a ton of time on work I'm going to just get a newer board and a new processor that can still use my DDR4 RAM/cooler/etc. (while giving me the option to upgrade to DDR5 in the future) so it'll cost me a few hundred instead of a couple thousand to replace, and I won't be waiting an entire month and more to get a used fkn board from across the pond for considerably more money than I'm willing to spend on it. I'm doggy paddling along on my old laptop but I'm afraid it can't handle all the stuff I need it to do. :|

I've been trying to light a fire under my own ass to get a GFM going for a down payment for the car I already needed but I guess I'll have to add this to the goal. I'd take commissions in a pinch normally but I've got so much work to do already that I just can't do that. The timing sucks.

Anyway, I'll update you all as things progress. Thank you to the folks who have been kind enough to suggest solutions, and for everyone's patience as I get this crap sorted. Sorry for the long ramble. Announcing bad news and then immediately suggesting I might need help to deal with it always puts me on edge.
