New security precautions on the discord server

I'm sure everyone that's been on discord for more than a month knows about the popular scam links. They are a long term problem, and on March 17th, 2025 we tried to solve this issue by requiring each user to manually write "verify" in a special channel, before gaining access to the rest of the server. This has helped significantly, but even verified accounts get hacked and scam links are posted.

In order to improve that, in the past week we've implemented new security features to our custom discord bot. From now on, users with text level less than 20 can only send links to websites that are whitelisted. Otherwise, their message will be removed, and a copy of their message will be sent to their DMs by the bot.

But since this is annoying, users that have been in the server for some time, i.e. users with text level higher or equal to 20 can send any links except specifically blacklisted websites.

This precaution significantly lowers the chances of a scam link appearing in our discord server, and to make it even safer, all messages including @everyone or @here ping get removed from EVERYONE, as most scam links include one of these pings in the message. WreckMP mod support improvement in making

It's been some time since we started noticing that some specific mods are causing issues with WreckMP. In an attempt to provide better experience for everyone, we came up with a way to find out what mods are causing issues, with the help of you all.

Up to twice a week, when you exit WreckMP, the launcher will show you a dialog window, with which you can voluntarily send us diagnostics data. Using this data we will point out which mods appear to be causing issues with WreckMP, then test it, and if we find out it really causes issues with WreckMP, we will put it on the so called blacklist.

When you enter WreckMP, if you have installed any mod that's on the blacklist, you'll get a warning about it, so you can remove it in order to achieve smoother experience.

Last but not least, a webpage to view all blacklisted mods, and mods that are synced for WreckMP is planned, but not promised to launch right away with the launcher update.
