Updated Orbit Scenes
The visuals in the orbit scenes have been updated to feel more dynamic and immersive. Planet shaders for Proxima B, Kepler-62f, and TOI-700e have been improved, featuring sharper cloud textures and more realistic cloud shadows.
Updated System: Scene transitions
The system that controls scene changes has been refactored for smoother and more natural transitions. Buttons remain clickable, but transitions now take between 2 seconds (for planetary travel) and 7 seconds (for interstellar travel). This helps prevent rapid scene switching.
While working on this, cosmetic improvements were also made to the user interface and sound effects.
Note: Due to these changes, your saved scene preference might no longer load correctly. Simply save your favorite scene again.
Updated Scene: Moon Base
Two new lighting modes — Sunrise and Eclipse — have been added to the scene. These can be selected via the scene controls and are currently a work in progress, with more polish and functionality planned in future updates.
Updated Scene: Ice Moon
Minor visual tweaks have been made for improved fidelity. A new alternate night version has also been added, featuring a fully lit planet in the sky — available as a Premium option.
Updated Scene: Ashfall Valley (Early Access)
The scene formerly known as Firestorm is now called Ashfall Valley. Firestorm is being reworked as a weather effect that will appear in the Scorched Ridges scene instead.
Ashfall Valley remains in early development, and more updates will follow.
