Evening everyone, hope your December is off to a great start. We've been hard at work, so I'll get right to it. For the art update, we have a new CG with the nerd girl. There's also going to be some progression with the under-the-table scene, so maybe that'll be the update for next week—although Kuga prefers to show stuff that's completely new.
On my end, I redid the task system to use a database instead of objects and to show the current tasks the same way the girl and ghosts lists do. Should work a bit better, in as much as you're seeing exactly what tasks you have. Took a while to get it to stop throwing errors, but it seems to work now, and hopefully it'll work for the bugtesters as well.
Progress on the girl locator is underway. Kuga sent some art assets over yesterday, but they were a bit small. Minor delay there, but nothing major. I've also started progress on the altar screen, which you'll see more of in version 2.0. It'll be tied to a new mechanic.
We got a bug report of not being able to access the van later on in the game. That needs to be fixed, though fortunately it doesn't block main progress. Also, just a heads up: I will be away for a week starting on December 12th. So we're pretty busy right now. Anyway, we'll see you soon.
