I've been away from social media for the past 10 days, and the reason is pretty simple: I had a bit of a mental boom. Drawing for hours and hours every day eventually takes its toll.
I could tell because I lost all motivation to draw. I’d lose interest halfway through a sketch or just try to finish as fast as possible without fixing the details. At that point, just looking at my tablet gave me a headache...
So I took a break and now I’m back! I guess I don’t need to announce when I take time off like that, but I figured some of you might be wondering about the lack of posts or pending commissions, lol.
I’m feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work! That said, I just wanted to let you know that aside from a few commission sketches, I don’t really have anything new ready for this week, haha.
I wanted to draw something from Umamusume but I don't think that’s gonna happen (maybe I’ll still do it just for myself). If you'd like to see it, just let me know and I might share it here on Patreon since it’s a private space. I know I’ve got work pending and I’m doing other stuff, but I’m trying to prioritize my well-being. If I jump straight back into the grind, I’m scared I’ll hit mental boom again.
So this month I’ll be drawing some stuff I personally enjoy—hope you all like it too! ^^
