Destructulon! Unfinished film.
Added 2024-12-21 21:32:18 +0000 UTCI figured I could put this on Patreon as a bit of a Christmas present. Art & Davey was my graduation film for animation school, but before I made that film, I had a completely separate idea altogether.
It was about a supervillain named Destructulon, who desperately wanted to find his arch nemesis,only to be sabotaged by Captain Cockroach: the wimpiest superhero in the whole galaxy.
In the end, it turned out to be a bit too ambitious for the time I had left, and I pivoted to something a bit less complex, which turned into Art & Davey.
The video you see here is as far as I got. (doom music is a placeholder obviously)
Maybe some day I'll revisit these characters, I voiced each one myself and it was a ton of fun to perform. Although, voicing Destructulon did wreck my throat for months to come.
