Have you ever wondered why we are so fascinated by monsters?
Sure, we all want our book characters to defeat dragons and evil wizards, but the very sight of these dangerous creatures makes us swoon with delight and admiration, mixed with horror.
The main character in my book saga has a very difficult time: he fights monsters that represent evil, but he also has the heart of a monster beating in his chest.
In books, as in life, it can be difficult to draw a clear line between good and evil.
Where that line is drawn is up to us.
