And of course, we (both writers and readers) want the light to win.
There is another point of view: there is no separation. I really want to convey this through my creativity. Dark fairy tales and horror stories are beautiful in their own way.
What you see in them are your feelings and your personal experience. The main character of my saga "Dragon Heart" Hadjar is equally antagonist and protagonist, his soul is a tangle of human and dragon nature, the same applies to his actions and choices.
