The simplified formula of any adventure novel looks like this: a brave man or a team of brave men fighting evil enemies using weapons or witchcraft as a means of destruction.
My readers are divided into two groups:
- those who prefer battle scenes using magic;
- connoisseurs of battle scenes with real weapons - swords, spears, axes and crossbows.
In my opinion, it doesn't matter how exactly the hero fights monsters and hordes of enemies, because the main and most dangerous weapon is the mind and ingenuity of the main character.
There is no limit to human valor, but trying to cut down a dragon with a sword is still no wiser than hunting a bear with a butterfly net. In order to win, you must use your head first of all. Even if it's wearing a helmet.
