For those interested: 0.27 Public Update is now available

As mentioned in our previous post, we're still hard at work on the Patreon release of 0.27 and boy is it shaping up to really be something special! For those interested however, the public version of 0.27 has just released on Itch containing a few small improvements and a few new backgrounds when compared with the Patreon version of 0.26. Meanwhile, we're going to work non-stop this weekend and hopefully get a lot done! I'd really love to release during the week next week, but that will ultimately depend on artwork. I feel fairly confident that the writing will be ready by then so if I finish ahead of the others, I'll work into Day 16 and roll that into this update. I won't need new artwork until maybe a third of the way in so it shouldn't be an issue. We'll see how things go!
PS: I forgot to update the credits with Junes $15 Patrons! I'm going to do that right now and push a small patch to Itch which will include this change. Sorry! Give me 15 minutes and it should be all go.

Sorry something went wrong with your save file were going to try restarting your game from your most recent checkpoint using your compatible dater. Then go to the main menu

The below link contains a test build which works around the issue by either using compatibility data (0.26) to restart the last checkpoint or restarts the day otherwise. The actual issue is borderline impossible to track down and honestly, I doubt there even is one. I think it's just Ren'Py being a shit. Can you let us know where in the game the save was, ie which day, route, and which part of that day. Also which version were you coming from, was it 0.25? 0.26? Hoping to figure this one out soon and hopefully do something about it.
