Upcoming Patreon Build Delay

Howdy everyone.

As mentioned in Progress Report, there was a possibility that the May Patreon Build was going to be delayed slightly as we hadn't quite finished up with everything. Unfortunately that has come to pass, and so I'm letting you guys know it almost certainly won't be out tomorrow as planned. We're sorry!

The good news is, it's not without valid reason. If you thought last months update was huge... you've got another thing coming. This one is even bigger again! It will contain the remainder of Day 12, Day 13 and most of Day 14. It's not finalized yet, but it's looking to weigh in at 55000 words just for this new update alone and rapidly approaching 4000 lines! In addition to the bells and whistles added to the Public release this month, it also contains a new character (Glenn), new backgrounds (Spare Bedroom + Variants), several new CG's and a number of sprite additions - several characters are getting fully nude sprites in this update, so look forward to that!

The main reason we delayed this build is because we're at a point in the story where it makes more sense to ship certain content together and not split it up between months. We could have dropped the Patreon build ending with Day 13, but we felt as though it made a lot more sense to add two thirds of Day 14 into this as well. Day 13 is a difficult day, lets say that much. And we didn't necessarily want to wrap on that. Furthermore, Day 15 and 16 are two very long, very challenging days that need to ship together as well. If we had left Day 14 for the June build, there just wouldn't have been time to finish 15 and 16 in time. So, rather than stagger it out, we decided to knuckle down, take the extra time we need, and ship the May build out as a total monster of a build in order to set up for next month.

So again to sort of summarize, we'll be taking a few extra days to get the Patreon build squared away. We're not sure the exact length of the delay, but we're hoping to release it as soon as it's ready, and because I have the week off work, there's plenty of time to get it all done. Best case scenario it will only be a couple of days behind. Worst case it will be a week. But no more than that, come hell or high water it will be out by then. Crucially, I want to drive the point home that this upcoming build is going to be one hell of an update. The story is starting to get really meaty, and Day 14 in it's entirety is something else entirely. Can't wait for you guys to get your hands on it!

PS: The Public Build is still expected to release tomorrow as planned. While it only runs to the same point as the last Patreon build, there's a number of nice new additions which are coming to both builds this month such as the Sex Scene on Day 11 being animated, new backgrounds for Diego's Spare Bedroom, a ton of fixes and improvements and more besides. When this build drops, I'll post up a link for you guys if you want to check out those new bits a little sooner. Otherwise, we'll be dropping this bad boy on you soon!
