I've followed a few Patreon projects in my time and one of my key frustrations with many of those projects was an inconsistent and unreliable cadence of meaningful updates. Some projects would go months without any information or updates.
As such, every month we intend to release a new playable build of the game exclusive to our Patrons. In general, everything that is ready to be seen will be included in those builds. Anything that's still too unfinished will generally be held back for the following month. This will mean that the amount of new content may fluctuate somewhat from month to month, but rest assured we're hard at work and a smaller build one month will likely indicate a larger one to follow.
In terms of development updates and other content, we won't necessarily have a scheduled cadence for these, but we hope to have several Patron exclusive posts per week so long as there's content to be shared. This could include screenshots of content from upcoming builds, new artwork and sketches, story excerpts and more.
We also plan to have polls available periodically on our Patreon. Sometimes these polls will help influence the direction our development will take, other times they will dictate the kind of content you'll be seeing on our Patreon page.
In having said all of that, if there's anything anybody is curious about, please check the FAQ section on our main Patreon page which answers a number of questions about our plans going forward. If the FAQ doesn't answer your question, feel free to drop a comment and I'll endeavor to come back to you with an answer as soon as I can!
