Bambu Labs AMS Cardboard Filament Guides (Latest files folder)

These are the files featured in the upcoming 3D Printing video which will give more information (and showcase some other upcoming prints)

The Bambu labs AMS is not compatible with cardboard spools (they work but long term the cardboard can cause problems with the gears of the machine)

These are filament protector guides that allow you to use cardboard filament spools in the AMS

At this point they fit the only filament I have which is cardboard... JAYO filament.

Diameter is to fit 195mm spools.

However if you comment on this post with the external diameter of your filament spool I will try and adapt the design to your brands needs.

Please comment with the filament manufacturer, the external diameter and internal diameter.

(I explain how to color them in detail in the video but for now, use the fill tool in the bambulabs slicer and the images will magically appear on the print surface)

Yours and others Patreon support keeps the channel going and allows me to create niche content and creations like these that the YouTube algorithm (and advertisers) do not appreciate as much as you and I.

Thank you for your support and enjoy the files

It looks like Jayo is a sub-brand of Sunlu.

Cheers mate. Appreciate it.

It works great, and I can get it for $11 a kilo… When it’s on sale and I use eBay plus I buy in massive bulk. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/404295024792?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=wiqnnyjirsy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=S9gW36B5QES&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

What’s the Jayo filament like? Does it work well with the P1S? Is it cheap enough? I’ve been using sunlu on plastic spools and haven’t had an issue. And nice and cheap too.
