a quick update

i went quiet again, ugh :/ i swear i'll blink and months just fly by! depression/stress is like a time machine to the future fr.

okay

but i wanted to let you know what's going on! and i'll keep this brief.

i've written the next couple of chapters but they need another round of editing, and i think i just want to finish Angels Book 1 before I release them. Cause I want to make sure I can get all the plot threads woven through just right and drive up enough build up for the next story arc.

so it'll just be a bit more waiting :(

it's really not helping that these chapters are so chonky cause that slows me down in the editing/rewriting process : (

the plan is to release it in a batch of 4 or so chapters (i might change it for best dramatic effect/ cliff hanger) and then the final bit in another batch (that i might do serially so i'd have time to get ahead on Book 2). but basically, you're gonna get it before anyone else.

if all goes well, next batch of chapters is this Friday! and then the final batch of book 1 will be the following week. this part is shaping up to be a novella's length so it's a little bit chonk.

thank you for being patient! i am trying my best to make this is as wild as I possible can (and trying not to let the perfectionism bs beat me up)

and im excited af to take the story OUT OF THE DAMN HIGH SCHOOL. would you believe i initially planned this whole thing to be 26 chapters??

the plan after book 1 is done is to edit it, but i'm happy with basically everything, so other than fixing up that fight in the chemistry hallway to flow better, everything else is gonna stay the same. the prose will just be tightened up and made sexier for the eBook and paperback releases.

and i'll be going full steam ahead with book 2 of angels for you >:)

i really need to get my shit together and write more consistently. that is the goal. gotta stop overthinking. post more words. be the sexy author i know i can be.
