2024-08-11 13:14:09 +0000 UTCOne thing they didn’t mention about restaurants in Europe is that a lot that take reservations don’t take walk ins. And/or if they have a reservation for any time of that meal, they won’t seat the table any other time, even if that means it’s vacant for the first several hours they are open. Even further, they may only schedule enough staff to cover the times when they have reservations. (This was a wild concept to get used to when I moved to Germany.)
