Thank you all for your patience and kindness during the Sick Cat Babysitting Month this has turned into.

Moses had to go back to the vet earlier this week and re-do the surgery a second time, since the infection/swelling came back. This time, he came back with more drainage tubes, painkillers, anti-bacterial gel AND antibiotic pills, and has been incredibly patient about the whole thing - but every human in the household is feeling a bit raggedy at this point.

I've been trying to work during the hours I feel most awake, and have gotten some freelance stuff done - but mostly it's been cat-sitting o'clock at all hours.

He's going back to the vet on Monday to hopefully get the stitches and drainage tubes out AGAIN, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that this round of meds and treatment finally does the trick. I just want my boy to be well again.

And, y'know. Sleep more than 3 hours a night again.

In the meantime, I'm glad you're all still here. You're helping cover the vet bills.
