Customizing Noah's Closet (Dev Log)

Hello there!

After such a long time since it was removed during the equipment overhaul, Noah outfit customization is finally returning! Finally, you can customize the clothing of the cutest little brother in the world. To unlock this, you need to complete Noah’s “Stormy Night” Quest. Saves with this quest completed should automatically have it unlocked. Once it is unlocked, you can go into Noah’s bedroom to see the following options:

[Take Noah clothes shopping] only appears during the Day when Noah is not at school. Clicking it will take the PC and Noah to the Kids’ Section of Boy Barn where you can shop for the little guy. (Just remember to put some pants on first.) Noah has a small but decent selection of clothes to buy, which we hope to expand as we go forward. Later on, once we add Noah Hang-Out options, we may move buying Noah clothes to that.

There are two other options inside Noah’s room. The first, [Customize Noah’s Current Clothing], does exactly what it says on the tin. This allows you to edit what Noah is currently wearing. From his shirt, to his shoes, to his undies. You can use this to dress Noah up special from certain days or if you want complete control of his outfit.

The final Option, [Customize Noah’s Closet] will allow you to customize Noah’s Active and Inactive inventory. You’ll find a [Help] button on the top with more information. But the basics is that anything in Noah’s Active Inventory can be selected when Noah is choosing his clothes for the day while anything in his Inactive Inventory cannot. Items in his Inactive Inventory can still be used when customizing his current clothing, but will remain in his inactive inventory afterwards.

There are a few other options as well, such as choosing if Noah will where socks inside. We have a few of these options/ideas in mind that we will continue to expand upon going forward. We’d also love to hear your ideas on how this system can be improved!
