LaaB V0.02.06 Update!

Hello there!

Is it too late to say merry Christmas? It is? Okay…

Yes, after what has been one of the busiest months I’ve had in a while, mainly due to my work deciding we didn’t need days off and my family deciding on a last minute get together, we have finally completed the LaaB V0.02.06 Update! I know you have all been waiting patiently, so thank you for that and if you don’t want to read my rant, enjoy!

So, the main part of this update is hanging out at Lucas House. You can visit it after completing a small quest you will run into naturally as you befriend him. In fact, each of the three new quests you should be able to encounter without too much trouble as they occur during normal gameplay. The only quest of Lucas’ that may cause some trouble is the Ryker quest from Part I. But we may try to make that easier to find in the future.

There is a decent amount of stuff to do when hanging out with Lucas, but be mindful of his needs as well. The requirement of focusing on NPC needs along with your own while hanging out with them is a fun idea we want to expand upon to increase the immersion of the hang outs. And while the events at Lucas’ house are fewer in some places, we have lots of plans to expand it going forward in terms of events and newer features, such as Sleepovers which will be coming later.

But finally having a system set up for hanging out at NPC’s houses is so nice! I personally really enjoyed just going to his house to hang after school and get some homework done in my own testing. I cannot wait until it is expanded to include more NPCs and features!

The final major part of this update is the quests, most importantly “The Punishment Game”. I won’t spoil it, but it is a meaty quest with 19 events (close to 30 if you include variations and choices) and really explores Lucas as a character. I hope you enjoy!

Also, big thanks to everyone who helped with little, behind-the-scenes changes to time, sleeping, and the closet system. Beat, MyLittlePony, and everyone else have been a big help!

Patch and Next Update:

We do plan to have a patch in a few days. Fixing any bugs along with including some new content. The ability to do ‘something’ with Lucas whenever you like along with a small ‘epilogue’ quest for Lucas’ Act ! quests. I shan’t spoil, but you’ll understand once you play through all his quests. Expect the patch in a few days.

As for the next update, I will explain that in a post in tomorrow, as we will be posting a Road Map for our first batch of updates for 2024! We are trying out the new ‘smaller update’ idea I mentioned before. This will make updates more focused, consistent, and smaller going forward to make the update cycle much easier. Stay tuned in a day or so to see that!
