Dev Log #2

Hello there!

And welcome to another Dev Log. I enjoyed the last one and figured I can post these every week or so as a way to tell you all what’s been worked on. Last time, I talked mainly about stuff that was in the beta, so this time I’ll bring you up to speed on what has been done since then.

Firstly, as mentioned before, we fixed the issues with the new sleeping system along with adding 5 new sleeping events, with some help from a new contributor, ALonelyKitten. Honestly, these small changes to sleeping, time management, and the closet system may not seem like a lot at face value, but both behind the scenes and in testing, they have really improved things!

Following that, we have added most of the supporter content, starting with some changes to Diapers/Pull-Ups that allow them to get ‘full’ and be used when wetting yourself. No more magically getting all wet when wearing a diaper, but be careful since they can overflow. And, in the event of an emergency, you can go to your trusted School Doctor to get a replacement if you find yourself full in the middle of the day. We’ve set it up where he gives you a random pull up, which is super cute and fun.

As for Supporter Characters, we have a couple new things for you. The Miller Twins, Jayden and Kayden, will start selling Lemonade during those hot weekend days. This is a fun little way to gain a buff and opens up plenty of options for future interactions with these two.

For everyone’s favorite photographer, Sebastian has a new event at the pool, I shan’t spoil it, and he is finally selling his photos! He currently has 4 you can unlock, and one of them may reveal an early look at a new character. ;)

Lastly, we have the introduction of a new lad named Isaac, but I won’t reveal any more than that. I’ll leave it to you all to figure out that one.

And what else has been being done? Well Quests of course! After spending some time at his house and learning more about him, you can unlock a new Quest from Lucas called “The Price of Fame”. I won’t spoil what it’s about, but it uses the new Friend Need mechanics, as you have to raise Lucas’ Comfort to complete the quest.

As for an ETA, I don’t have one yet as I have been told to wait until we know for sure. BUT, I can say that, once I finish “The Price of Fame”, there is only one more quest left to complete before the update is ready, but this is the big one. No spoilers. :P
