A big warm welcome to all the new members of the Milestone Heroes community! I appreciate everyone's continued support despite the growing backlog! As usual, the sets will go out to members during the month they are actually released as well as those for the months that it was intended to release. No one will miss out!
I have withheld a few sets from release for some additional polishing and last-minute additions. I promise they will be worth the wait! I typically pour all of my attention into one set at a time which makes for a pretty steady release, but once I started developing other designers to help, sets have been worked on in tandem, which has been a challenge for me to predict when they will be ready. In the meantime, here are some updates regarding specific sets and their progress:
Scatter Pack 18: All but finished, largely focused on lumber mill/woodland fort construction scatter. So you can expect various wood piles, logs, chopped wood, saw horses, and a wagon for the transport of lumber and hay.
#41 - Treacherous Paths: This set was delayed to a complete redesign. I just wasn't satisfied with the original design. It was good and similar to what was already out there by other creators, but it can do better. I am trying to do something new with this set that I have never tried before to create organic-looking paths that can shoulder drop-offs and cliff faces that are also modular and stackable for vertical builds. It's been tricky, to say the least, but confident the new design will deliver.
#43 - Woodland Outpost: All design assets are complete for this set. The only thing remaining is the final assembly. The set includes killing ground, which is essentially cleared forest, now a field of stumps, which will transition into the existing woodland sets. It also includes fortress walls, ramparts, a gatehouse with barbican, and defensive towers.
#44 - Raven's Wood: Dynamic Edges: As sets go, this one turned out to be smaller than I would have liked, so I held it back to provide additional edge variation, which has nearly doubled the size. These edges are designed to make the tile boundaries more organic and reduce the square nature of the tile edges. Additionally, the forest foliage and scatter are pulled right up to the edges to better merge right into your 2d mats.

October 2nd - Throwback Sets #5 - Dungeon Expansion 2 and #10 - Dungeon: Cultist Lair will be released.
October 3rd - September download links will go out for the completed sets.
October 4th - Bonus Scatter Pack 18 will be released.
October 5th - The November Quest Board will be available for voting. Set #44 - Raven's Wood: Dynamic Edges will be released.
October 7th - Set #43 - Woodland Outpost will be released.
October 10th - The Throwback Poll for October will be available for voting.
October 11th - Bonus Scatter Pack 18 will be released.
October 14th - Set #41 - Treacherous Paths will be released.
Celebrating Milestones!
We are so close to unlocking the next major Milestone, which is set at 175 members, and based on the polling results, the next bonus set will be a Thrones & Bones outdoor encounter set!
For the reward to be triggered, the member count must be maintained through the start of the month, as the member count tends to fluctuate as each month transitions into the next.
As always, my two priorities are to maintain each release's quality and the vitality of the Milestone Heroes community!
