I'm from rural far north QLD. I feel what Jordies is talking about. My fathers family were 'homeless' 6 months ago year. Grandad could only get accommodation on farms during the cane season. No one in town would give him a rental because he was aboriginal. Similar story for mob in town. They had they're camps for the other 6 months. I went to highschool with wealthy farmer kids who's family wealth came from our actual stolen land. I beat one kid up one day because his racism was too much that day. My family's story is the reason for my success. I have to be the best person I can be as what my ancestors had to endeavour is nothing to what I experience!
