2025-03-03 04:53:04 +0000 UTCI'm going to stick my neck out here just to say that in terms of independents that Jacqui Lambi shouldn't be lumped in with the rest of the faux-liberals in disguise. Since leaving Palmer, she's shown to be more on board with people/worker first policies. I think she was against the obstructionist behaviour of the HAFF and was more pro affordable/accessible education for all (against the recent liberal changes to higher education and TAFE). If anything, I'd prefer if more liberals were like Jacqui Lambi, (values-wise) but also, shes what I think of as the canonical "Australiana woman" example to show foreigners what I think is an "Australian". Also, is it Cover_8 the handle of Chad mislav? Couldn't find it! Thought it would be easy to find brainrot on the internet these days.

And on top of that, the coalition started automating coal mine approvals so we don't even KNOW how many were approved under them. Labor saying we're not going to IMMEDIATELY cut out coal but instead have more oversight of it and steadily reduce it is a very reasonable approach.

Almost no traffic, cheap parking, lots of culture & civil war history, 3 major league sports teams, ppl here are really chilled out & friendly, and it’s hilly & green. My 2-storey home, w. basement & big backyard, in the leafy suburbs, just 20 mins from downtown … cost us $350k USD. 3% interest. America’s big cities suck. Most ppl live in towns & smaller cities, where life is better than what u see on TV.
