you guys mentioned about 40 minutes in how great the free exchange of ideas is and the effect the TPP had on trying to restrict it. Have you heard of the Free and Open Source movement? On the Committee on the TPP They people from Linux Australia talk about Free and Open Source Software.
Maybe if you want a guest to talk computer stuff you might be able to invite someone from there to chat about what it is.

I think that stuff is cool and interesting because its a way of separating Hardware and Software industries in a way that is easier than separating something like Oil supply and Distribution in the past.

I may be proven wrong, but NFT’s came and went in 2 years, this isn’t as useless, but still pretty underwhelming and underdelivering to the hype it’s driven.
This scheme gets played out and keeps getting played out at a quicker pace to keep with the normy’s withering attention span and keep the capital acquisition going.

Maybe I’m just stupid or ignorant, but thus far this whole AI buzz seems like another .COM bubble (same as cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens). Some bullshit that’s hyped up by twitter addicted tech bros who get into a flurry of how this dumb crap will change everything and fundamentally change society, when in reality they just buy the beginning dip on the stock exchange to do as stock cunts do, leave the shrinking bag in another poor sod’s hands.
Granted I don’t use it, but everything I’ve heard of AI effectively boils down someone thinking it was cool that it chained together 3 Google search’s to them a workout plan or some shit, good for prolonged brain drain of the populace, not as innovative as all these people hype it up to be, not in the slightest as advanced as the smokescreen has people believe.
Which is to say, it’s no wonder there was a “breakthrough” made when all the ‘investment’ in US tech company AI was EXCLUSIVELY hype stock that they sat on and did little to no ‘developing’ with so they could get a bigger monthly bonus.
It’s the same company cronyism that lays off ten million people a year just to meet some short term growth loophole to maintain stock price value. THIS is the game corporations play and continue to play.

Again the qualifier, I am old.
From a working class prospective, bring in the valuable high skill migrants by all means.
We are not dumb.
But do not bring in labourers under a 457 scheme.
That just undercuts your working class.
It is abused by industry.
Set the bar high.
Scour the planet for the best and the brightest.
If industry needs cheap labour, employ Australians.
Give Auntie Shellie a job.

I am old.
I thought this was going to be war.
But then America turned on the Middle East.
This is where the quantum jump in Chinese tech started.
They took that plane apart down to the nut, bolt and washer.
