Not a hassle. Just pointing out that not all landlords are arseholes. l am a Libertarian because Labour in Victoria are total scumbags. Liberals in Victoria are total scumbags too.

23 yr member of the CFMEU and a member of the Labor party for 18yrs. Served 6yrs in the Army. I stood on picket lines when John Howard was attacking the working class. I have done my wages striking for weeks over better conditions through the years. Ask me how jaded I have become by people who talk. What else did I have to do to make change? Maybe we should start taking things into our own hands. Talk only gets you so far. Up the Health Care Killer I say. He is the most Revolutionary bloke I have seen in a while. We could use a bit of direct action over here. Hence my support for Jordies and his penchant for a little Marxism.

Jeremey Richardson

As someone in a trade and on the tools, the working class is hard to mobilise now because they are busy being distracted by tiktok or Thier work. The managerial class have time to worry about social issues. I only got into knowing about social issues because I got into politics as one of my hobbies...

Well you can invest in the stock market instead if it's such a hassle.

I'm not saying it's impossible, it'll just take a lot more time to foster the same ideas you've picked up, just about every tradie I know and have met don't know the importance of unionising and don't bat an eye to it, Jordies has been over this kind of phenomenon, manufacturing consent. Though most people no doubt are fed up with the system and can show broad disdain on a surface level, but in my experience (no doubt differing to your own, and I don't discount that) I find this disdain to be just that, surface level, shallow, luke-warm in a majority of instances, when establishment media (which for just about every tradesman includes talkback radio everyday when they head in and out of work) is always harboring general resentment for the system under the Labor party and the system broadly, under reporting on helpful legislation in favor of complaining about taxpayer dollars funding parliamentarians (and don't bother covering for them in this regard, this is the most legitimate their complaints get), death by a thousand cuts, and it just so happens that Murdoch and Costello are handing out knives. If you want the working class to be listened to then make them heard, join your local Labor branch and never shut the fuck up about issue and policy that benefit broader society, keep them on the track of progress, remind them of these ideas they've supposedly left behind. It's up to us to put in the work, Jordan says as much across his channels.

I don’t know what stratum you sit within society. But I am working class and if I remember my Marx correctly, the revolution was for the industrialised society. I work with my hands for a living. My society is pretty industrialised. I am totally up for a Marxist Revolution. But the ‘left’ has left the working class ideas behind. The sooner the working class is listened to rather than spoken at, the better. Otherwise there could be a few surprised others apart from the Elites against the wall. Keep at it Jordan. I’ll save you a spot at the barricades. ✊

Victorian landlord here. Both families renting from us have pets and kids. Living in Victoria has turned me into a Libertarian.

56:08 - A Couple Notes -Ali I think you stress the size of the 'Social' faction a bit too much, all the queers I know wouldn't hesitate for a second in touting support for union movements, expanded welfare systems, and larger social security nets, and most of those who *DO* only care about being 'woke' are those who aren't clued into politics aside from vapid self-interested reasons. . . furthermore...c'mon man...really? You're going to call the concept of emancipating social minorities "crazies"? Dude, you can hate gays, yeah cool, but don't let that hate get blinded by seeing too many reels and edits about SJW's getting owned or some shit man, the internet is wayyyy oversaturated with extremes, because that's what gets engagement, they have to harvest your attention somehow. -As far an 'alliance' with the establishment goes I think this is also far overstated, as social issues are often beyond irrelevant to shadow money and big business (unless owned by butthurt conservatives like Rupert Murdoch or Elon Musk) and thus are far less consequential for establishment politicians, as opposed to union friendly stances and higher tax brackets which actually put billionaires in a tizzy and cause them to dump truckloads of cash into media campaigns to assuage public opinion even if it's within their interest, the political landscape just isn't ripe for your Marxian revolution, the conditions must right, and I'm sorry to say man, they're not, you have to be practical and say incremental gain along the path of reform is our best (if not only) option.

the idea of Teals taking more seats from LNP, in the aggregate, is very encouraging. Even an ALP/Teal deal for a majority would be the second best option after ALP majority.
