Some states only allow in-party votes: e.g., you can’t vote in the Republican primaries if you’re not a registered Republican. Pennsylvania is one such state. Hence, the only way Crooks could vote against Trump (which it makes sense he would really want to do) is to register as a Republican. The hubris among you two is so childish. You think you know so much more than you really do. About a country you don’t even live in 😂

Trumps presidency wasn't NEARLY as bad as it could have been due to the work of public servants actively making it hard for him to do anything, just look at the New York Times letter published in 2018 from someone working under Trump. But even what he did do was terrible, he handled Covid terribly and the Abraham accords which HE passed lead directly to the current war in Israel Gaza. Similarly, his 2017 tax breaks DIRECTLY FOR THE RICH has lead to worse public healthcare, further exacerbating the fent crisis, as well as directly leading to the cost of living crisis. Even still, your "dictator day 1 is a metaphor" is a defunct argument when there are groups, such as project 2025, purposefully working to instil effectively an American dictator. When you have republicans voting for the recent presidential laws, meaning presidents are ABOVE the law, and when you see Trump consistently and constantly admiring characters like Putin. Also, it's again a loose argument saying he referred to violent criminals as animals, we both know that's a massive dog whistle and he HAPPILY let's people think that he is referring to all illegal immigrants to further stoke the 'us vs them' fear that he rides off of, obviously I cannot prove this but if you look at dog whistling rhetoric the dots are all clear.

Watch the Shapiro video I shared. The *specific violent criminals* Trump was describing WERE animals. They treated fellow human beings like pieces of meat. Trump was NOT describing all refugees and you are falling for media manipulation. “Dictator on Day 1” is a metaphor, and he focused solely on the border and energy. You are STILL taking Trump literally but not seriously. Again: in his 4 years in office he did NOT ACT like a dictator; he just SPOKE like one. Yeah the Muslim ban was callous & dumb. Pure political move. But you said he tried to “ban a religion”. We all gotta tone down the rhetoric! 😂 Yes, his rhetoric is terrible. Almost EVERY avid Trump supporter I know recognizes and dislikes this. It’s just one; not even 1 hr. Ignore his annoying voice, focus on the LITANY of examples he provides of Democrat/Left excesses. And it barely scratches the surface — he could’ve gone on for hours. “Trump-Russia”, “Ukraine-Gate”, “Threat to democracy”, “he’s like Hitler” … all lies. For 8 years. No surprise that some ppl took this seriously and acted on it. As someone born/raised in Aus, but now in my 10th year here in America, and a former Jon Stewart/Michael Moore type, I promise you just do not get the full picture in Aus. No one gives a shit, they just talk about their own everyday problems (career, family, weekend activities, taking the trash out). But I have had a handful of Aussies ask me about it over text. It’s highlighted to me how much more Australia treat USA politics as entertainment than the New Yorkers I see.
