Funny how you start off saying the Labor party needs to represent all Australians rather than privilege one foreign people, which is true, but then you seem to just think they should privilege a different foreign people instead

'dumb mistruths' says the guy who literally equates the issue to "Jews are all pro-Israel and the only people pro-Palestine are Muslims". I never mentioned Jews in my comment and you started attacking me with 'Jews vote Labor', okay champion. Just because you can type a lot, and yet still say incredibly little, doesn't mean you're smart.

All that to say nothing. 3.2% of the Australian population is Muslim, .4% is Jewish. So using your numbers game, we should be 6x more on the side of Palestine.

13,000 Australian residents identify as having Palestinian ancestry.
There are 14, 355, 100 employed workers in Australia.
The Labor party represents the interests of those 14,355,100 people - not the 13, 000 Palestinians whose “brothers” are being bombed
can they ask their brothers where the rest of the hostages are?
The hostages that were taken on October 7 that Israel has been trying to rescue?
The hostages that if they were never taken Israel would have never went in and bombed Gaza to the Stone Age?
The hostages that when rescued have been held under duress by Palestinian civilians who are apparently innocent in this conflict and don’t support Hamas despite all of their actions showing they do support Hamas?
How about you have some basic empathy for people that have been slaughtered every where they have gone for the past 2000 years because they were identified as foreigners and strived to actualise their goal of an independent Jewish state through non violent means?
(The NAkBa occurred after resolution 181 where all Arab states opposed the creation of a Jewish state and openly stated their mission to oppose a Jewish state by any means necessary, that’s why Israel rolled in with tanks, it was not an unprovoked response, but apparently we are meant to cry about the NAKBA 😭😭😭😭😭😭)
Go read what Ismail Haniyeh and yahya Sinwar say about people like you (you won’t because you like to hear what Palestinians think from non Palestinians, if you heard what Palestinians and their leaders think you would change your tune, just as I did)
Better yet go listen to Hasan mossab yousef, a Palestinian man whose father started Hamas, go fucking listen to what an actual educated person has to think about this, not some cunt that thinks allah created the world and Mohammed split the moon in two and put it back together - those people live in fairytales, of course they think they are the victims.

Have some basic empathy Jordan. We live in a country of immigrants. Imagine you're a Palestinian Australian, who would you prefer to vote for? A centrist party that refuses to reprimand the country bombing your brothers, or an Islamic independent that aligns with your international views more correctly? If Foreign Affairs matter so little, then it should be incredibly easy for the Labor party to publicly speak against Israel.

Please go read the article “the Jewish vote and the 2022 federal election” and stop spouting dumb opinions as fact.
Jews vote Labor, the attorney general is Jewish.
Macnamara and Kingsford Smoth are two electorates with a high Jewish population and they are labor electorates.
Labor also isn’t appealing to Israel, they just aren’t simping for terrorists and apparently that makes people upset?
The Islamic voters only have the LNP left to vote for because they are ideologically opposed to the greens
Also if Muslims cared about loss of life they wouldn’t refer to those murdered as “martyrs in the battle of al aqsa mosque”
I am a card carrying labor member and ETU member and labor are 100% representing my interests and beliefs with their approach to the garbage fire that is Israel Palestine.
“Payman is truth of an Islamic defection”
Wow you mean a senator that was only voted in by people because she was meant to represent her party has decided her religion is more important than her constituents?
3.2% of the country identifies as Muslim, 3.2% will be happy with her decision, and they will be very loud about it.
The majority of the country see her as a traitor who has used her government paycheck to advocate for people on the other side of the world at the expense of the people paying her salary.
But keep spouting those dumb mistruths bro you definitely know what you’re talking about

The issue is by appealing to Israel, Labor gains nothing but loses Islamic voters. I'm yet to meet any pro-Israeli that does, or would, vote Labor, but there are plenty of Islamic voters that are currently Labor voters that could easily defect over the disregard for Islamic life. Payman is literal proof of an Islamic defection within the Party.

Hey guys I had an interesting thought about the Koch brothers and it’s that they are also funding and propping up the radical left (I know these terms are dumb but for the sake of simplicity) and let me explain what lead me to believe this and why I think this works in their favour…
Firstly the “woke” ideology started popping up in the universities, which of course they pay a big special interest in, roughly a decade ago. Secondly climate activists, specifically groups like just stop oil, throwing canned spaghetti at priceless works of art and holding up traffic does a really good job at delegitimising what they’re advocating for. And lastly most of these “leftists” focus on social issues that don’t really matter (ie gender pay gap) which diverts attention from things such as jobs being outsourced to other countries. That being said we could go further down the rabbit hole but I’ll leave it at that. Does anyone think that there is any merit to my claim? Please comment because I’d really like to hear!

In regards to the Lebanon situation, id thought Id share this from a friend. " If You ever see Israel conduct Major Bombings against Lebanon, it usually has NOTHING to do with so - called terrorists. It is to destroy oil pipelines that are transporting crude oil. Once those pipelines are destroyed, trucks have to transport that crude around bombed - out areas, and YOU The Consumer pay the additional transportation fees. A good movie, which hints to this fact, is the movie ‘SYRIANA ( based upon a CIA Whistleblower’s True Life Story).’ When my friend was A Member of the United States’ (US) Rapid Deployment Force, He was stationed at MCAGCC 29 Palms, California. All of the Equipment was Pre - Positioned in Oman. Well, now such equipment is moving to Italy. Why?; Now that They have taken - over Iraq, the NEW US Corporate Fascists Target is Northern Africa. That is why Gaddafi had to go. He was uniting the North Africa Country Leaders. Israel knows this very well, and has always gone along with such plans…..”

Yes you are 100% correct that most Australians don’t give a fuck.
The only people I know that care are the same people that care about every trendy virtue signalling cause and they already vote Greens and call Labor “shit-lite”
Labor isn’t going to appeal to people who already don’t vote for them by spiting people who do vote for them
Macnamara and Kingsford Smith are two electorates with a high Jewish concentration that re elected Labor MPs in 2022.
Griffith in Brisbane would be the “free palestine” capital of Queensland and they have greens in all three levels of government.
The best thing for Labor is to stay the course and tell the free Palestine crowd to get fucked and reinforce solidarity with the Jewish cohort
(which according to jordies control Australia so if he is correct about that then Labor will obviously be re elected)

There is no good goodwill on this issue. The Israel/Palestine conundrum is the source of the most rank politics from all sides and its one they embrace with abandon.
Having abandoned watching, listening or considering any news related to Israel/Palestine, the first I heard of Fatima Layman was this podcast episode. It doesn't affect my perception of Labor, Liberal or Greens. They're all cunts. It's just that Labor are less cunty than the rest of them.
This may hurt Labor in the short term but it will be forgotten next week and only kicked along by the Greens and the Libs at the next election. My gut tells me that most Australians could not give a flying fuck about Israel or Palestine. They're too busy treading water.

Labor also put forth a motion to recognise Palestine and the two state solution and an enduring peace solution.
For some reason the Liberals and The Greens voted against it.
(It’s because enduring peace means no more rockets fired into Israel)

“I don’t understand why Fatima fell for it”
The most accurate thing Jordies has ever said, she didn’t fall for anything.
You don’t understand this topic, in any way whatsoever.
She’s also now an independent, so no, the greens aren’t to blame.
But I can’t wait to hear about how the Israel lobby is to blame from someone who continuously says he doesn’t understand this topic.
