This seems a bit superficial. Scratch deeper and I find so many instances of unfair firings, mob justice etc. Maybe Aus is different (we do seem much less PC). But in the US it’s been rampant. I’m in academia and I would never dream of telling colleagues I’m even maybe slightly pro Trump. A senior colleague even told me I should make my classes more anti-Trump. Even in the UK there are stories like cops showing up over nothing but a maybe-racist tweet. Happening to Average Joe’s; not just famous people. So I really don’t know what you’re taking about unless you’re speaking about Aus specifically

Mislav is so out of this ep. You can literally say nearly anything in society, but that doesn't mean society has to listen to you. Getting cancelled is the same as just people refusing to listen to you, you have the right to say what you want and people have the right to listen to what they want, have a whinge.

Dune is about humanity's fight against AI. And, arguably, Dune isn't inherently pro-Islam, it really just uses Islam as an exotic coat of paint to make to make it a more 'unique' story.
