The government having a surplus in the budget helps, but companies have increased profits which pushes inflation up. Followed by petrol and gas prices being so high.

They really affect owner occupiers and in turn renters, so the bottom of the food chain in terms or financial stability. This means squeezing millions of people who can't afford to be squeezed. The the people that benefit from the housing market are investors who buy the houses, preying on the poor and reducing the availability of housing and making the owner-occupier status harder to achieve. Is it not a better way to increase corporate taxes, fees and licensing ((, corruption) )etc. to reduce the massively disproportionate amount of corporate spending? There's no need for these companies increase inflation by pouring tax deductible finances into the economy to be paid for by the average worker or family.
