I'm with Mislav, I can't figure out if it was full satire or not. I am convinced that Greta Gerwig put all those 'women no longer had to be mothers *queue smashing baby dolls head* a la 2001: A Space Odyssey' just to trigger all the Alt-Right chuds within the first ten minutes. She's a good director who can do a good gender/class movie (see Lady Bird). Also Noah Baumbach can do a balance of womens and mens issues (see Marriage Story). So idk jury is still out on full satire

I think Oppenheimer is a fantastic movie. It is more a biographical film rather than just making the atomic bomb. The scenes where they would test the atomic bomb was very impressive, and very loud. It is a character driven narrative with psychological themes, trauma and mostly a legal court room drama. Pretty similar to ‘The Social Network’ in-terms of narrative structure and back and forth scenes in a “non-linear”fashion way. It’s a step up for Chris Nolan from that awful TENET movie. I agree it is different from all the action in the Nolan movies. But the film score was great. It is a lot of heavy dialogue movie but it’s fascinating.
