Sorry for late comment. Hollywood has a history in the Cold War of being a hotbed of ‘Pinkos’ and ‘Commies’ and was one of the few places where the ‘left’ ideology could grow in a rabidly anti-left country like America. I agree with Jordan’s take on the whole ‘pampered pooches’ thing but I tip my hat to any group in Yankland that are willing to strike in a country that is still so ideologically driven to hate the ‘left’ or unions.
