I'm not sure about that, it seemed like a fairly positive story (apart from the usual "controversial youtuber", etc). I think someone at channel 10 wanted to run the war crimes story but the network didn't want to cop a defo case so they're just using Jordies as a scapegoat.

2023-03-08 08:16:27 +0000 UTCJust seen the 2 minute clip of Jordan talking to Ten News, and I've gotta say I think there's a strategy on 10's part to giving you the limelight at this specific moment. Its a simple and extremely effective method to turn the Australian public against you. I don't feel your video about the war crimes podcaster is going to come off as intended. You used what that guy was doing as a platform to outline how ludicrous prosecution is, and you took 35 mins to do it, which is not a criticism, but the majorityof folks are not going to sit through thay long of a video, thr public by and large ar a pack of Mislavs. 10 News have posted this 2 min snippet with the tag "Friendlyjordies take on Ex-Aussie Soldiers". While I believe your points about the throw downs and blooding etc are very much worthwhile, all the hyperbole around the "psychopath" commentary things hes said and how jokes were made on the field, which is one of the ways soldiers deal with the day to day horror, is going to be on full display and is going to unjustly receive the most attention. Someone very close to me has transcribed war diaries from the 2 world wars, and they're full of awful things, but it's one of the coping mechanisms, not the way crimes of course, but the low regard for the opposition's life. The "playing Sandcastles with his dads brains" bit was them talking about a soldier trying to flank and kill them, so that's very understandable commentary among comrades given the circumstances. I'm a huge fan and have been a patron and with continue to be a patron, but I feel this one missed the mark. Keep up the great work and don't let the bastards get you.
