Definitely not your fault, Dawkins and his booking agent are both responsible, you did what you do, they really owe you a massive apology. In summary, Murdoch recently attempted to remerge News Corp and Fox to create one mega-media company and consolidate Lachlan's control over it once old Rupert kicks the bucket. They ended up being forced to scrap the deal once other shareholders came out publicly against it, particularly the largest non-Murdoch share holder (Independent Franchise Partners), a fund notorious for preferring back room deals over public confrontations. Do you think this could be a sign of future weakening of both the Murdoch's control of News Corp, or simply a delay of the inevitable?

2023-02-23 16:11:38 +0000 UTCI've always found Dawkins to be an overrated arsehole. His atheism schtick is hack and I don't find him intellectually stimulating on any level. Atheism cannot answer the questions humanity is pondering. Thank Christ there are more imaginative minds out there.

Seemed like a weird fit from the get-go, but anyone keen enough on 2023 Dawkins to pay to see him live is a bit odd. The atheism is played out and the pop-science is intellectual masturbation for midwits.
