The reason trans/white nationalism an issue, is because the 20th century revolutions are sown deep into our species wide memory. We understand that a small group of ideologues can seize control of a nation through demonising a small group on the other side. America is in prime position for this to happen, you should read ‘principals for dealing with the changing world order’ by Ray Dalio. Essentially, a declining world power will lash out in a last hurrah war to try to reestablish their primacy. Russia’s undergoing it right now, if America does it under the leadership of a wilfully ignorant tyrant like Trump, world war is almost inevitable, as China will see their opportunity to establish their primacy as the leading power. Say what you will about Putin, he’s not wilfully ignorant, just a bit naive of his country’s true place in the world order. We need to bide our time until the baked in 1.5 degree ecological change starts the climate induced migration tsunami, that’s a world war humanity can handle, and it’s inevitable. It will happen regardless of a war between empires. We can’t come back when the nukes start flying.

For mislavs "have it on my desk by tuesday" if you want to to be something he doesnt enjoy, he needs to study up on some really specific topic related to the byzantine empire. Maybe Justinian I (and belisarius) and his attempt to restore the empire or Basil II getting a bunch of vikings and taking out the bulgars (something basic before the really esoteric shit, or throw him straight in the deep end who cares) Jordan can simultaneously laugh at his takes and be the expert judge of his factual accuracy

my suggestion for misadventures is for mislav to go to taronga zoo. i suspect his observations will be similar to when he went to luna park but i think his reactions to chimps that are as smart as he is will be funny
