the china and russian femine thing was way off. The main famines happend in Ukraine which is one of the biggest bread baskets in europe because they sold the grain out from under them. And china they thought they could plant a second crop under the first and get double the rice. Which didn't work but everybody reported it so the yweren't killed and they exported it as if they had twice as much.

They probably have thought and wargamed out the scenario of invading from the east (Alaska) but you would end up with basically the same scenario where Russia can just endlessly fall back as your supply lines become more and more stretched thin and with less chance of getting a victory that crushes the morale like capturing Moscow would. I know I'm not Ali but those are just my two cents from the perspective of a guy who has read a fair bit of military history stuff

But that's the thing, the modern feminist movement has become extremely toxic towards men and what used to be seen as being a gentleman, can sometimes be seen by some of the more extreme feminists as you trying to hold up "toxic masculine values". About the benefits woman have, then yes they definitely get a lot of them. Look at Norway for example (my country), considered one of the most equal countries in the world. In university, women get more points to their score when they apply for technical engineer degrees since those fields have mostly men in them. But the thing is, women do better in school in general! So it isn't because women can't get in, it is because they just don't want to apply, and they still get these benefits. And of course, since these degrees have limited spots a woman with a lower general score than a man can get in ahead of them. Even though the man had a higher score. To point to another case, there is a quota in Norway where all public limited companies have to have 40% representation of women in top positions. There was actually a case where a company was told that they had too few females in top position, and the next week suddenly some female employees had gotten promotions to higher up positions. Not because of skill or that they earned it, but because of that quota. The "nonsense" that they talk about women is somewhat closer to the truth than you think. Not saying I support everything they say, but usually, when they make these "on the edge" jokes there is some truth to them. And it's just funny man. I definitely think there is a good balance of Jordan and Mislav having more "on the edge" views and Ali being the more grounded one. And I don't think he just buckles to peer pressure so easily as you just said. That's not my impression at least.

C-town represent. On the vote, I think the reason why Parramatta had so many no votes is because of the immigrants for sure. Even if they are affluent, there is still a remaining ideology that is just so culturally instilled whether they know it or not. I'm from ffield originally and it's pretty much the same thing except we're poor immigrants.

I don’t think many people would argue that you’re a misogynist for opening a door for a woman as a man. But I do think many would think it is if you were to rate women out of 10 as though you are grading a piece of meat at a butcher. Also “women get all these benefits that men don’t” you’re kidding yourself Ali. Actually can’t believe you take advice from Bill Burr on women. I’m a huge fan of friendlyjordies and jimmies pod but some of the nonsense you guys say about women is becoming a joke. Feel like Jordan is on a mission to get as much shock out of viewers as possible and is increasingly lacking empathy, Ali shows some restraint but gives into peer pressure and I try not to listen to anything Mislav.
