August will be PATREON REQUEST MONTH!!! Help support a good cause! (UPDATE: Request lines are CLOSED!)

That's right my beloved patrons, August 2022 will be Escape From Vault Disney's third annual PATREON REQUEST MONTH! We had it in September the last two years, but this year I'm moving it to August!

That means, from now until Wednesday, July 20th, I encourage you all to submit REQUESTS for any movie, TV episode, TV special or series of shorts on Disney+ that you'd like my guests and I to cover! Then, we'll devote the episodes released in August to nothing but your requests! (Sending me a private message would be preferable, though I'll also accept requests in the comments of this post.)

The only three rules:
- Limit one request per patron per year
- Your request MUST be available to stream on Disney+ in the United States as of July 20.
- It CANNOT be something we've already covered on the podcast, though it CAN be something I've already covered in a livetweet. (Also, it can be a TV series we've already covered, just as long as it's a different episode. If you'd like to request that we randomly select an episode of a specific TV series, we can do that too.)

(Also also, if you requested something last year or the year before that didn't get picked, and we haven't covered it in the interim, we're NOT gonna automatically carry over requests from previous years. We're starting fresh here. But please, feel free to request it again if you so desire, or request something completely different this year if you prefer, it's up to you!)

And this year I have an additional announcement: in the wake of the Supreme Court's recent horrific decimation of body autonomy rights, ALL of the money, every last penny I make on Patreon during Patreon Request Month this year will be donated to the National Network Of Abortion Funds, which helps people get the abortions they want and need. You all have until 11:59PM Pacific on WEDNESDAY, JULY 20th to submit your requests! Once I've received requests from everyone who wishes to submit one, I'll assemble them all into a shortlist, feed that shortlist into the randomizer, and each of the five episodes we release in August will be devoted to SOMEONE'S request, possibly yours!
